Ready to get off of Meta?Me too. This past week, I had a meeting with a representative from the ad agency that holds all of Bible Gateway's ad placements. You know Bible Gateway, right? The Bible reading website & app that, like, everyone uses? They have banner ads that flash around the page. You can buy those placements for a relatively low price. I, of course, thought this was intriguing. But why advertise to people who are already Christians? Well, don't be quite so quick to assume that their traffic is all Christian. Their 3rd and 4th highest keyword referrals from Google (behind Bible Gateway and Bible) are Genesis 1 and Psalm 23. 👀 Also, plenty of Bible-readers do not have a pastor they can talk to, a christian education for their kids, or a church they're happy with. I came up with three ad options that we could place on Bible Gateway: All of these ads would go directly to a custom landing page (designed by yours truly) where the call-to-action would take place. Are you intrigued? I need a pilot group of people who are willing to give this a shot.
Here's my offer:However many views you'd like to buy ($6 per 1k views) + my credit card processing fees (2.9%) + A flat fee goes to me one time. I'll create your ads & your landing page. (You retain ownership of the ads & landing page to use for something else later on if you want to.) = Total startup cost Once you're set up, you can choose how many views you want to buy & when you want to buy them (starting at just $6 for one thousand views). Because this is uncharted territory, I'm pricing my time very low to field test this. If this pilot group sees positive results, the price for this service will go up.
This service will only be available until next Friday at 5 p.m. ET, so we can get started bright and early on Monday the 20th.
Want to talk this through with me before you buy? That seems smart! I've opened a few Open Office sessions over the next few days — grab one! (Maybe watch this video first, though. I go through some FAQs in there!)

A few people have mentioned this to me, so I simply had to investigate... Have you gotten ads for Church Candy? Church Candy was started by a man who built an ad agency in a different field. He pivoted and decided to use his skills within the church. He promises that he can get new visitors into your church using online ads. How does he do this? His team will run ads for you on Facebook & Instagram with the primary goal of gathering leads. What's a lead? A lead is someone who sees your ad and...
I've been designing a lot of postcards lately. I let people know about a $1.5k matching grant a few weeks ago through Outreach.com. I also work with a lot of churches that are having their launch services soon. Because of this, I've been working on lots of postcard designs and here is the general idea behind the template I use (that makes web traffic do this): 1) Ditch the paragraph and write for the eye. Take the paragraph of descriptive information that you'd like to put on your postcard...
