5 weeks of newsletter content for YOU to use

Here's a content idea for your weekly newsletter:

Here's a little extra content for you to plug into the next few weeks of regular communication to your people. Maybe you can add it to a portion of your newsletter or send out a quick mass text for the next few weeks.

This content shows people five ways to use your online presence to amplify their word-of-mouth outreach. This is education for your insiders, not your prospects—so make sure you properly filter any communications you send.

Pay attention to the {brackets}, because there are a few places where you'll need to plug in your own relevant information. Otherwise, just copy & paste!

Introduction: Over the next few weeks, we'll be looking at 5 different ways you can use our online tools to share your faith and your {church/school}. Here's idea #1...

Week 1: Send a sermon to a friend.

Have you ever had a conversation with a friend about a challenge in their life—then Pastor's sermon that Sunday spoke precisely to that point?

{Copy the link to the Sermon page on our website//Share the link on Spotify//Send the YouTube or Facebook} to them with a short, thoughtful message.

Week 2: Repost our posts to your stories!

Every week, we put up posts on Facebook and Instagram. If a particular post or devotional thought resonates with you, we'd encourage you to repost it to your stories! It's a quick and easy way to share our account with your friends.

Week 3: Use the Invite button on one of our Facebook events.

When we set up an event on Facebook (like our {insert example here}), you'll find an "Invite" button on the right side of the event page. When you click that, Facebook will pull up a list of your friends. You can choose a few that might enjoy attending and it will send them an invitation.

Week 4: Leave a Google review.

More Google Reviews on our business make it more likely that we'll show up in Google searches like "{church/school} near me" or "{church/school} in {city}". If you have a few minutes, leave a review {here}.

Week 5: Post in a local online group.

Are you an active member of your neighborhood's Facebook group or an avid Nextdoor browser? {If we're putting on an event you think your neighbors would enjoy//If you think your neighbors would enjoy our school}, consider posting a casual message to the boards.

There you have it!

Sometimes we assume people are choosing not to do these things, when they might just need a reminder that these tools exist (and they're not at all scary to use!).

How to turn any paper-and-pen scribble into a dynamic Canva icon... I know the right people will geek out over this one with me 🤪 Instead of reading: Follow along with my video tutorial! What do I mean when I say "Canva icon"? Here's an idea to build off of YouTube views you're already getting: Do you know how many times I've heard the following from pastors I work with? "Yeah, we put my sermons on YouTube. People will visit church and say they've been watching for a couple weeks before they attend for the first time, so that's been good." So. many. times. This is amazing! What an awesome demonstration of how the internet can be used to remove barriers to an in-person connection (which is, of course, the ultimate...
