What is a lead magnet? A lead magnet is a digital resource you give away in exchange for someone's email address. I wrote more about it in this newsletter.

Arguably, schools have even more reason to implement lead magnets in their marketing strategy. Let's say a mom isn't ready to book a tour, but she sure would love your printable snow day activity book.

Now you have her email and can invite her to your next open house.

I've said it before, I'll say it again:

Once you have someone's email, you should give it the utmost respect. If someone you've never met gives you their email, avoid sending them the frantic 2-hour delay announcement. *immediate unsubscribe*

Have a separate email list for newbies and only send them things they would find relevant or valuable.
